Hydroelectric
Geogreen currently has five hydroelectric power stations located in Lombardy and Piedmont, with total electric power of about 10MW. The average annual production is about 50 million kWh.

Furthermore Geogreen manages hydroelectric power stations owned by customers in the province of Bergamo, Italy.

Coldimosso power station
The Coldimosso plant is situated in Susa (Province of Torino, Italy) and is an interesting example of the industrial architecture of the early 1900s.
Water from the Dora Riparia River is conveyed through penstocks to the turbines and then flows back into the river. After the 2007 revamping, the two generator units with Francis turbines boast total power of 3,200 kW and average annual production of 14 million kWh.

Campignano power station
Dating back to the 1940s, the Campignano power station is located in the municipality of Parre (Province of Bergamo [BG], Italy) and utilizes the waters of the Serio River in the municipality of Villa d'Ogna (BG).
The diversion canal is 1,793 metres long. After the turbine at the end of the penstock, the tailrace extends for another 150 metres to its outlet in the Serio River. The hydroelectric unit is a Kaplan turbine with installed power of 1,500 kW and average yearly production of 9 million kWh.

Cunella power station
The Cunella power plant is situated in the Cunella locality in the municipality of Villa d'Ogna (BG), Italy and draws water from the Serio River in the Ponte di Ludrigno locality in the municipality of Ardesio (BG). The plant was built in 1960.
Water flows through an open canal for 296 metres and then through a tunnel for 1,100 metres . At the outlet of the tunnel the water flows through the penstock, through the turbine and then back into the Serio River. The generator unit is a Francis turbine with installed power of 1,380 kW and average annual production of 8 million kWh.

Lenna power station
The Lenna plant, located in Lenna (BG), Italy, was constructed in 1937 and renovated in 1998.
Water from the Brembo River is conveyed to the power station by a penstock - partially open and partly underground - through the municipalities of Olmo al Brembo (BG) and Piazza Brembana (BG). From the plant, the water is released directly into the river. After the 2006 revamping, the generator unit is made up of two Francis turbines, with installed power of 3,000 kW; average annual production is 16 million kWh.

Molino Nuovo power station
The Molino Nuovo power station is located in the Molino Nuovo locality in the municipality of Ferrera Erbognone (Province of Pavia, Italy). The power station, completed in November 2010, takes water from Agogna Torrent. The unit has two Kaplan turbines, 780 kW of power each, and the power station produces 7 million kWh per year.
